RENEW International is a global Catholic ministry and part of the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ. It came from the remarkable vision of a revived Church by Msgr. Tom Kleissler and Msgr. Tom Ivory, who wanted to more deeply involve laypersons and have them help address parish, civic, and international concerns. At the heart of RENEW International programs is the idea of dividing a parish into smaller, caring Christian communities. This approach gives people a better chance to study Scripture, study to live the Gospel, and see God at work in their lives.
