Love New Wave Matchmaking Bug
I don’t like to admit it, but I didn’t always have Great Expectations for my dating life. Get this, yesterday I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. During my birthday party that comes from being alone, for once. Don’t judge me (j/k!). Does that tell you anything? Honestly, that’s the moment when I first looked into finding a date in North Dallas.
No problem. Figured I’d boost my dating life at this Dallas dating service. Probably turned out to be my golden ticket. Here’s a story. I was at Julie’s soccer finals at Oak Park this afternoon, my sister asked me if I’ve found the love of my life. I don’t know why they even care. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “No.”
No surprise that The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) doesn’t know when to quit driving home on the topic of my personal matters. I quipped to the family gang: “Hey look, what do you know about dating?”
You know what? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Shortly after, I fell asleep that night just to get some perspective. That didn’t help! I can’t imagine what I was thinking there. Nina, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) offered his opinion that I meet singles at Great Expectations. I said, “Sure, whatever.” See, everything always works out. I can speak highly of this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles.
Early on, dating events were kinda foreign because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I showed up already a little anxious, so much so that I got a little queasy. A mere emotional anxiety did not stop the evening. The night was bursting with excitement. The gems of the occasion had to be the attractive, single women.
I started going to these incredibley satisfying Great Expectations Dallas singles events and mixers, I met some great people who clearly have similar ideas which made for a magnificent singles event. I really shouldn’t allow anyone give me a hard time about me not dating. Surprisingly enough, matchmaking in Dallas with Great Expectations is enjoyable and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
